An Aadhaar number is required for residents of India to get certain
government welfare benefits. The document serves as verification of an
individual's residence and identity. The Unique Identifying Authority of India
issues Aadhaar, a 12-digit unique identification number (UIDAI). An individual
can download and print UIDAI Aadhaar by using the enrollment ID, virtual ID,
or Aadhaar number supplied by the UIDAI after enrolling for the Aadhaar card
at Aadhaar Centres or Banks/Post-offices. Once a number is provided, the

Aadhaar, select the 'I want a masked Aadhaar' option.
Step 5: Enter the Captcha Verification Code and choose "Send OTP" to receive a
one-time password to your registered phone number.
Step 6: Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone number.
Step 7: After you've finished the survey, click "Verify And Download" to get
an electronic copy of your Aadhaar.
How to download Aadhar Card By Enrolment Number(EID)
If you have not yet received your Aadhaar card or have forgotten your Aadhaar
number, you may still obtain an updated Aadhaar card by entering your Aadhaar
Enrolment Number (EID). For e-Aadhaar card download by enrollment number,
follow the procedures below:
Step 1: Go to www.uidai.gov.in.
Step 2: Select "Download Aadhaar" from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Go to https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ to complete the process.
Step 4: Enter your 14-digit enrollment ID number as well as the time and date
values in 14-digit format.
Step 5: Type your complete name, pin code, and picture captcha code in the
boxes provided.
Step 6: To generate an OTP, click "Request OTP."
Step 7: Select "Confirm" from the drop-down menu.
Step 8: The OTP will be sent to your registered cell phone number.
Step 9: Enter the OTP and select "Download Aadhaar" from the drop-down menu.
Step 9: You may now get a digital copy of your Aadhaar Card.
How to download Aadhaar Card by Name and Date of Birth.
You may still download e-Aadhaar by entering your name and date of birth if
you don't recall your Aadhaar number or EID. To get your Aadhar card, follow
these steps:
Step 1: Go to https://resident.uidai.gov.in/lost-uideid/ on the Aadhaar
website.
Step 2: Fill in your complete name, e-mail address, or phone number, as well
as the security code.
Step 3: Select "Send OTP" from the drop-down menu.

How to download Aadhar Card by DigiLocker App
On integrating the DigiLocker account with Aadhaar, DigiLocker cooperated with
the UIDAI to make it available to cardholders. DigiLocker is a cloud-based
platform for the issuance, storage, sharing, and verification of digital
documents and certificates. It allows select registered organisations to
provide electronic or e-copies into citizens' "digital lockers." To download
Aadhaar from your DigiLocker account, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to https://digilocker.gov.in/ and log in to your DigiLocker
account.
Step 2: Select "Sign In" from the drop-down menu and input your 12-digit
Aadhaar number.
Step 3: To obtain a 'OTP,' click on 'Verify.'
Step 4: Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone number.
Step 5: Select 'Verify OTP' from the drop-down menu.
Step 6: The page titled "Issued Document" displays. Using the 'Save' icon,
download 'e-Aadhaar.'
How to download Aadhar Card Without Registered Mobile Number
You can't acquire your Aadhaar online unless you have a registered cellphone
number. To obtain Aadhaar without a cellphone number, follow the steps
outlined below.
Step 1: Take your Aadhaar number to the nearest Aadhaar centre.
Step 2: Verify the needed biometric information, such as thumb verification,

using Umang:
