If your laptop does not have a good webcam and you want to use your
mobile camera as a webcam in your laptop on the omega website then you are on
the right page. I will guide you on how can you use your mobile camera as a
webcam on the Omegle platform. There is a software and app known as droid cam
that can be used as a mobile camera or a webcam on a laptop or pc. But there
is a catch, after installing the application on both devices you need to do
some sort of task on your laptop or pc. The task is a bit difficult so I am
gonna help you out with this. You follow all the instructions to use a mobile
camera as a webcam on your system successfully on the Omegle platform as given
below:

First, go to the official website of
DroidCam on pc,
download the client software and install it.

- Now download and install the droid cam app on mobile as well.

After installing droid cam on both devices, connect your mobile and system
on the same wifi.

Open the app on both devices and enter the Device IP on pc app as shown in
the mobile app.

Click on the start button to use the mobile camera on pc.

As you can see the mobile camera is projecting on pc in the droid cam
application.

After doing this setup, now if you try to use droid cam on Omegle platform it won't detect droid cam on their site as it banned the
virtual camera on the website.

To use it you have to use do some settings on your pc.

Go to Start > Run and open Regedit.

In the registry editor, go to

You have to change the "FriendlyName" value from DroidCam Source 2 to something without the word "droid cam".
Now close the window and open a browser, go to setting and search for the camera.
Scroll down, click on the camera option and choose the IVcam camera from the list.
