Question1: Express the trigonometric ratios sinA, secA and tanA in terms of cotA.
Solution:  In the case of sinA, we have to use the trigonometries identities formula which has cot function

i.e., cosec2A - cot2A = 1
cosec2A = 1 +  cot2A
1sin2A = 1 + cot2A
1 1 + cot2A = sin2A ........... [Eqn-1]
Therefore, sinA = ± 11 + cot2A
In case of secA, we have to use equation 1 below
1 1 + cot2A = sin2A = 1-cos2A   [  sin2A + cos2A = 1]
 cos2A = 1 - 1 1 + cot2A  = 1 + cot2A - 1 1 + cot2A =  cot2A 1 + cot2A
1sec2A =  cot2A 1 + cot2A

In case of tanA, as tanA is the reciprocal of cotA

Therefore, tanA =1cotA
