According to Dell, the laptop's chassis is only 15.28mm thick and 1.24Kg in weight. The packaging used to ship the device will be entirely recycled and renewable. The interiors have been toned to match the finish, and the chassis is composed of CNC-machined metal and glass.
The keyboard is described by Dell as "Zero-Lattice" and is "comfortable, smooth, and efficient with every keystroke." The glass touchpad's haptic feedback offers "a targeted, reactive sense to touch."
The business claims that with its Express Charge feature, the laptop can be charged to roughly 80% battery in less than an hour and that thermal performance has also been improved by using bigger fans for the internals.
