If you lost your Aadhaar card and you don't have your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID (EID), you may still receive an e-Aadhaar card by entering your personal information such as name and date of birth on the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website.
To obtain your Aadhaar card, you must first complete the requirements outlined below.
- Go to www.uidai.gov.in, the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
- On the home page, go to the top menu and choose 'My Aadhaar.'
- Go to the 'Aadhaar Services' sub-menu under the 'My Aadhaar' option.
- Select 'Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID' from the drop-down menu.

- You will be taken to a new page where you must enter your personal information.
- Check the box next to the 'Aadhaar No. (UID)' or 'Enrolment ID (EID)' option, according on your needs.

- Fill in your complete name, registered mobile phone number, and registered email address in the boxes provided on the page.
- Enter the captcha supplied in the image into the Captcha Verification form and click the 'Send OTP' button.
- A One Time Password (OTP) will be send to your UIDAI-registered mobile phone number.
- Click the 'Verify and Download' button after entering the OTP in the area given.
- The e-Aadhar will be downloaded after the OTP has been validated.
