The actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed to her followers on Saturday that she has been diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune disease. Samantha shared a selfie of herself on Instagram as she was lying on a couch with an IV drip attached to her wrist. The actor was watching the Yashodha teaser with her back to the camera and a microphone in front of her. Samantha made a heart-shaped gesture with her hands but kept her face hidden.
"Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was tremendous," Samantha wrote as the post's caption. I have the ability to handle the apparently endless problems that life throws at me because of the love and connection I have with every one of you. I was given the diagnosis of myositis, an autoimmune disease, a few months ago. I had hoped to post this when it entered remission. However, it's taking a bit longer than I had anticipated.
I am gradually seeing that we don't always need to put on a tough front, she continued. I'm still having a hard time accepting this vulnerability. The medical professionals are optimistic that I will soon make a full recovery. I've had good days and horrible days, both physically and mentally, and even on the days when I feel like I can't go another day like this, that feeling eventually passes. It must only indicate that I am one day closer to recovery, I suppose. I cherish you (black heart emoji). THIS WILL ALSO HAPPEN.
She recently published the trailer for her movie Yashoda. The surrogate mother Yashoda, played by Samantha, bravely reveals the details of a major medical crime in the trailer. Yashoda, which was filmed in Tamil and Telugu, will also be released in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam after being dubbed in those three languages. Yashoda, directed by Hari and Harish, will debut on November 11. She will also appear with Vijay Deverakonda in the forthcoming romance drama movie Khusi. On December 23, it is scheduled to open in theatres.
