According to the initial reports, the smartphone manufacturer introduced this phone on October 27 in China, it's native nation. It will soon be made available in more international locations.
The smartphone line includes the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition. It's anticipated that these smartphones would appear in India under a variety of brand names. Recent rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ would launch in India under the name Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge.
Kacper Skrzypek, an MIUI tester and leaker, claims that the Redmi 12 Pro+ will make its debut in India as the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge. There is a significant chance that the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge will support 120W fast charging since the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, which is the predecessor of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, does. In the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge range, there are just two variants. The Redmi Note 12 is therefore probably going to be the Xiaomi 12i, but as this is still just a rumour, act with caution. Early in 2023, the Xiaomi 12i series is likely to make its debut in India.

A 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens are said to make up the triple back cameras on the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge. A 16MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls is rumoured to be included with the smartphone.
The smartphone battery is expected to have a capacity of 5,000 mAh and 120W rapid charging capabilities. Future smartphone prices in India are not yet known. The starting prices for the Xiaomi HyperCharge 5G and Xiaomi 11i 5G smartphones are 24,999 and 26,999 rupees, respectively.
